About This Tool
Download mountain peak and summit locations as point data for any country in the world. Filter by minimum elevation to focus on high-altitude peaks — ideal for trekking databases, topographic maps, outdoor recreation apps, and geographical research. Data is sourced from GeoNames, a free open geographical database with over 11 million named features worldwide.
Point Data — What That Means
Each mountain is delivered as a single point at the summit location — a latitude/longitude coordinate with attributes including name, elevation, and region.
