Which files and projections can I use?
Map Whisperer currently works with WGS84 longitude/latitude (EPSG:4326 / CRS84). CSV files need latitude and longitude in decimal degrees. GeoJSON, KML/KMZ, GPX and zipped Shapefiles are supported. Vector exports use WGS84 too.
The background map displays in Web Mercator (EPSG:3857); that does not change the coordinate system of your data. For NZTM (EPSG:2193), MGA, UTM or other projected files, convert to EPSG:4326 with Reproject Vector before importing. Map Whisperer does not reproject these files automatically.
